Eco Education provides a range of school based environmental education services including Senior Geography and Biology fieldwork and excursions on the Sunshine Coast and in South East Queensland.
Led by our team of environmental scientists and educators with over 30 years combined experience, our field trip and workshops are Australian Curriculum linked and highly valued by teachers because of our expert knowledge in catchment & natural resource management for the South East Queensland region.
We cover a wide range of environmental topics, including: coastal processes, catchment health, natural processes, the impacts of human activity, managing biodiversity, taxonomy, hydrology and geomorphology, natural hazards and mitigation, water quality & many more.

Good morning Trevor and team, I wanted to thank you all for the awesome experience you created for our Year 7’s last week. Trevor was a wonderful presenter – he was knowledgeable, not just about the topic, but also about how to present engage the students, when was time to change pace, what level to pitch things at for the students and he connected well with students and staff/adults.
My class recently participated in the Kids in Action Environmental Day. Your organisation ran a great workshop at Wappa Dam educating the kids about water health and the creatures found in the waterways.
It was a terrific learning experience for all involved and we were fortunate and grateful to be accompanied by very experienced people in their field of expertise.
Thank you – the kids had a great day and all commented on how knowledgeable you are on all things environmental! Michael who came along is our Geo teacher and he is super keen to get some more fieldwork up and running so he may well be calling on Ecollaboration for some more assistance. Thanks so much.
You guys were fantastic and making sure everything that needed to be covered was covered. I loved that Trevor was an ex-teacher so was able to speak to the kids like a teacher would. Very flexible with timings and activities and the kids loved that fact they got to go to the beach for the day (even with the wind and rain).
Teachers and students have reported back that they highly enjoyed the sessions and found them a great link between the real world and what we have been learning in the classroom. Thank you also for being flexible with our times and the weather conditions. Looking forward to working together in the future.
The kids really enjoyed the information session and planting, we’ve been going back to the creek regularly for watering. We would definitely love to have you back next year to work with the students with a focus on the creek health.
